Central Dauphin School District's e-communications program helps to get timely communication from our schools out to the public. We feel e-Communications will provide a better way to reach out to our parents and students while reducing the amount of paper sent home. Some information may continue to come home in paper form. Copies of all information on the website will also be stored in school offices. However, we are looking to move the vast majority of the information that goes home to our web site.
We recognize that some parents do not have the opportunity to reliably use our web site on a regular basis. For those families, Central Dauphin will make paper copies of relevant flyers available to your child on a weekly basis. To get paper copies, you simply need to contact the school office. A packet of papers will be gathered each week for your child to pick up at the office. We thank you for your cooperation with this initiative.
Due to inclement weather, the March 22nd Kindergarten Registration has been canceled. If you had an appointment for March 22nd, please contact Central Registration for a new appointment.
The conference scheduling link will go live on Friday, January 12th at 8:00 a.m. The link will be closed on Wednesday, January 24th at 12:00 p.m. On Friday, January 12th, we will send the link out via Blackboard Email as well as post it on our school website. We ask that between January 12th and January 24th you access the link to schedule your student(s) conference visit(s). Access to schedule via the provided link will close January 26th.
While we realize due to the large size of our school population we cannot always accommodate everyone’s first choice in conference times, we hope this process will allow you more flexibility in the conference time selection process. Please see the below directions for more information on how to select and schedule your conference time(s).
To schedule your preferred time for a parent-teacher conference,
Elementary Student Conferences will be held on Tuesday, November 7th. Kindergarten Conferences will be held on Tuesday, November 7th and Wednesday, November 8th. In an effort to facilitate conference scheduling and provide more flexibility to parents, Paxtonia will be scheduling parent-teacher conferences online.
We ask that between October 24th and November 5th you access the link to schedule your student(s) conference visit(s). Access to schedule via the provided link will close November 6th. Please see the below directions for more information on how to select and schedule your conference time(s). To schedule your preferred time for a parent-teacher conference,
1. Go to www.myconferencetime.com/paxtonia.
2. Click on the name of your child’s teacher.
3. Select the desired date/time for your conference by clicking on “Sign Up.”
4. Submit the requested information. If you have several children attending our school, click on “Register for Multiple Conferences” and follow the prompts to schedule your children for several conferences.
After you schedule a conference online, the date and time are reserved for you. If you entered your email address correctly, you will receive email confirmation of your conference.
If you are unable to sign up for a time and date online, please send a note with three preferred times and dates to your child’s teacher. Once we receive your note, we will attempt to schedule a conference for your desired date and time but cannot guarantee your top choices as time slots fill up quickly. Thank you for your support of your child’s education.

Paxtonia Elementary was selected to receive the National Agriculture in the Classroom TSC Garden Grant. Our 5th grade students will research, plan and build a garden/outdoor learning space. Students will also manage and donate our garden's harvest to a local food bank.
Paxtonia Elementary is focused on creating engaging student centered and personalized learning experiences for all students. We are committed to the integration of technology as well as active student learning to build 21st Century skills in our students. Currently, we are building an innovation laboratory. This space will create an opportunity for students to collaborate, invent and learn through play. If you would like to support our efforts please drop off supply or fund donations to the school office. Below is an attachment that outlines some of the common items we need to supply our projects as well as a few pictures of our current progress. A student has already created a robot for our laboratory!!! With your support and our students' creativity we know great things are to come. Thank you for all your help in this process.
