     L-Z(Grades 6, 7, 8) - School Counselor:   Mrs. Kathleen Geissler

The seventh grade student will be learning about the changes that are necessary in middle school. We will be making new friends and renewing old friendships. We will be learning new information and building upon the skills we learned in elementary school. We will be increasing our level of independence and assuming new responsibilities. In summary, we are here to help assure that these changes will be positive for both students and their families.

The eighth grade student will be preparing for the important transition to the high school. With the help of parents, teachers, and counselors, students will be making important decisions this year. We will visit Dauphin County Vo-Tech to explore the programs that they have to offer. We will be meeting to discuss what is offered at the high schools and completing the important scheduling information needed to make that move successfully. We are here to assist students in making these important decisions.
