About Chambers Hill
Chambers Hill Elementary School is a small community based school with a student population of 217 students. Nearly all of the students ride a bus to school but a small number walk. A crossing guard helps them get to our school safely. Class sizes range from 16-25 which allows teachers to provide quality instruction.
Students may purchase lunch in the school cafeteria for $2.05 or they may bring lunch from home. Students may also buy snacks or milk when packing a lunch. A computerized accounting system has been installed to allow students to pay for meals, snacks, and milk in advance. The children must enter a pin number at lunchtime and the proper amount is deducted from their account. Additional money can be placed on the student's account any time a parent chooses. It is best to write a check to the "Central Dauphin Cafeteria Fund."
