    PPL Electricity Announced Recall Alert on Nightlights Distributed To Schools As Part of Think! Energy School Program:  Nightlights included in PPL’s “THINK! ENERGY” school programs have been recalled due to a possible fire hazard.  If you have one, you are advised to stop using it immediately. CDSD students may have received the nightlights through the energy program for schools.  Questions regarding the PPL nightlights should be directed to Ecova 1-877-486-9204.  Click HERE to Link to the full story from the PPL website.

  • PTO Butter Braids Fundraiser

    Chambers Hill Elementary School/Title I Parents,

    This is the announcement of the PTO spring fundraiser, Butter Braid® pastries!

    The fundraiser starts Monday, March 6th. It will run over a period of two weeks and all orders are due by Friday, March 17th.   

    The proceeds from this fundraiser will go to support Chambers Hill PTO. The PTO helps fund many events at Chambers Hill Elementary, including assemblies, parties, educational programs and other extracurricular school expenses. We have had great success in past years with the Butter Braid® pastries fundraiser. Please visit for more information on these incredible, filled pastries.  

     Butter Braids arrive frozen and are required to be picked up by an adult on Tuesday April 4th between 3:45pm-5:30pm from the school.

  • Leukemia & Lymphoma Fundraiser- Pasta For Pennies

    This month our fundraiser is Pasta for Pennies.
    The money raised will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and go to fund cancer research.  

    The students can bring in coins, paper money, and even checks to donate.Our school’s goal is to raise $2,500!
    The classroom that raises the most money will win a pasta party from Olive Garden.

    Of course, our real goal is to raise as much money as we can to support cancer research and find a cure for childhood cancer!

    Ice Cream Social on May 12th  is from 6:30 – 8:30.

  • New Car Pick-Up Procedure



    The link above has a map of the new traffic pattern for the Car Pick-up Procedure at Chambers Hill ES.

    Notice how you enter at the entrance by the Fire House and loop around at the dock to pick up

    your child in front of the school.

    Display your number on your windshield. It matches the one your child has.

    Staff will send your child to your car.

Title I building.

What does that mean?

Title I is a 100% federally funded supplemental education program that provides financial assistance to local educational agencies to improve educational opportunities for educationally deprived children. Title I programs are designed to help children meet the state content and performance standards in reading, language arts, and mathematics. In buildings with 40% or more poverty, the funds can be used to upgrade the entire curriculum of the school and are School-wide Programs. The purpose of a School-wide Program is to improve the academic achievement of all students.
