Central Dauphin School District has executed a Google Apps for Education Agreement with Google for Central Dauphin-specific access to the Core Apps listed above that provides some additional protections to the public versions. Use of any public Google tools for Central Dauphin School District data is probihited.
Most forms of confidential data should NOT be used with any Google Apps. Google has agreed to properly host Central Dauphin’s sensitive data as an institutional agent in Core Apps only. Please avoid any use of Google Apps with restricted data. Similarly Google Apps should NOT be used for any information subject to U.S. export control laws.
Document owner responsibility
Document Owners using the Core Apps must regularly review sharing permissions to validate authorized parties have a valid need-to-know role and that content is appropriate for hosting under the G Suite Apps for Education Agreement.
Document owners must ensure compliance with Central Dauphin policies when granting access to documents and avoid improper disclosure of confidential data that could occur from sharing folders and individual documents.
G Suite for Education supports the current and prior major releases of Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari on a rolling basis. Each time a new version is released, Google will begin supporting the latest update and stop supporting the third-oldest version.
